The Beginning

The Journey of a 60+ Year Old Company

For over half a century, Hank Ogden has solidified Ogden Forklifts Inc. as a top-tier forklift company in the state of Georgia. And in those 60 years, nobody has been able to sell, rent or service forklifts like Ogden has.

"In 1972, when I took complete control of Ogden Forklifts Inc., I focused on bettering our service and on growing the company. Even though I concentrated on better training, better qualified people, better technicians and better sales people, I knew none of this would make a difference unless we always did what we told our customers we would do." –Hank Ogden

As Hank Ogden transitioned into retirement, a familiar face returned to Ogden Forklifts to lead the company. John Gehrhardt started his career at Ogden Forklifts in 1984 and in 2019 when the unique opportunity presented itself to return it was a change he was ready for. John knew that Ogden Forklifts was built on a strong foundation, one that he could leverage to take the company to new heights. With the return of John, he also introduced Wayne Gehrhardt as the new General Manager, with his years of service experience Wayne is a natural fit for the role. Together the Gehrhardt’s represent the new leadership at Ogden Forklifts.

As we continue to grow and improve in our second half-century, we want to ensure our customers that they will remain in good hands. Each and every one of us at Ogden Forklifts is not only an owner, but we also realize that your satisfaction relates directly to our success.
